Yuriy Kaminskiy
Ph.D. Candidate at ITMO University, Data Scientist @ NSS Lab

In the lab, he focuses on the hybridization of deep and probabilistic models and the ongoing support of BAMT. During his master’s degree, he worked on training large Bayesian networks as a lab engineer. Yuriy is also a swimmer, snowboarder, and tennis player. Apart from sports, he enjoys cinema (arthouse), music, and video games.
BAMT is an open-source framework designed for representing data in the form of a probabilistic graphical model and for solving a multitude of AI/ML tasks, such as feature selection in predictive tasks, generating multidimensional synthetic samples, and constructing probabilistic reasoning (what is the probability of taking such a value if other values are known).
