Dmitry Soshnikov
Associate Professor at Moscow Aviation Institute and Higher School of Economics, Technical Lead of AI Lab and HSE School or Art and Design

Dmitry worked at Microsoft for 16 years. He was a Leading Expert in artificial intelligence and machine learning, helping large European companies to implement data-driven digital transformation pilot projects. He is the author of the Microsoft AI for Beginners Curriculum and the first Russian-language book on F#.

Currently, Dmitry is teaching «Artificial Intelligence» and «Functional and Logic Programming» courses at the MAI, HSE University, and MIPT. He is also developing the mPyPl library intended to enable Python developers to use functional style in data processing and deep learning tasks. Dmitry is interested in technological art and introduces tools based on open source generative neural networks into the practice of the HSE Art and Design School. His Science Art works have been showcased at the Krasnokholmskaya Gallery, the Non-Fiction Exhibition, Electromuseum, and the Russian Impressionism Museum.
