In 2008, he graduated from the Saint Petersburg State Electrotechnical University (LETI) with a degree in Computer Science. With over 15 years in commercial development, he has managed teams of 2,000+ employees.
Since 2012, he has been at VK, holding positions such as head of video platform development and project lead for the news feed of the «Odnoklassniki» project. In 2019, he became the CTO of VKontakte, VK Video, and VK Calls. Together with his team, he implemented the QUIC internet protocol, doubling the speed of VKontakte. He developed VK group calls and unlimited participant calls.
In 2020, he launched the VK Clips short vertical video service on the VKontakte technology platform. In 2021, he introduced a unified video technology platform at VK, combining VK Video, VK Clips, and OK Video.
In 2022, he became the Vice President of Technology and Development at VK, responsible for technology development and development processes across the entire VK company.
