Sergey Ovcharenko
Yandex, Head of Computer Vision Neural Network Technologies Group
A graduate of MIPT, he was a research scientist at the Joint Supercomputing Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences before developing facial recognition software as a leading researcher and developer at NTechLab. His professional interests include deep learning, computer vision, and information retrieval. While he was going to study computer networks, he ended up with neural networks.
